Words For Charity is pleased to announce that it has awarded its 2018 Fall “Compassionate Chronicle” grant to Carolyn Boykin.
The “Compassionate Chronicle” grant is picked from authors who have published a story at Words for Charity to raise money for one of several great causes. From this group of authors, a computer algorithm picks out the recipient.
Carolyn hails from Chicago and is currently earning her Masters in Creative Writing at Columbia College. Carolyn has a storied history in Education and Non-profit and Community work in and around Chicago.
Carolyn has published two distinct Stories with Words for Charity, both benefiting Newborns in Need, one of our fantastic featured Charities. All proceeds from story downloads will go towards her Charity Choice.
